Second Part of Financial Seminar Offered at Senior Center March 7

The second part of a two-part seminar, Preparing your Estate Plan, will be held Wednesday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at the Northbridge Senior Center, 20 Highland St.

“It will address developing an estate plan and discuss the importance of working with an estate planning attorney, the function of a will, the benefits and risks of trusts, and the probate process,’’ said Planning Director Jeannine Dionne.

It will also discuss different strategies to decrease estate taxes and passing assets to heirs, she said.

The first part of the seminar, held Feb. 8, introduced a number of ideas to help build a reasonable strategy for managing income and expenses during retirement,
