Eight engineering firms, one of which will be charged with the first step toward redeveloping the Department of Public Works facility on Fletcher Street in Whitinsville, toured the property with DPW Director James Shuris, Highway Superintendent Robert Van Meter and Building, Planning Construction Committee Chairman Thomas Pilobosian at a meeting Wednesday. Qualification proposals must be received by Shuris no later than 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11.
