NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - Joseph Alvarez, 35, of 34 Taft St., was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at about 5:35 a.m. and charged on a default warrant and being in possession of a dangerous weapon, a switch blade.

Police said officers responded to a call on a street in the Rockdale section of Northbridge, located Alvarez, and after a brief investigation, he was arrested on the above charges.

Arresting Officers were Sgt. Stephen Zollin and officers Brian Collins and Kristina Westbury.
